CombiPatch was the first
patch in the United States to deliver both estrogen (estradiol) and
progestin (norethindrone acetate).
It’s a convenient alternative for patients seeking relief for moderate to severe
menopausal symptoms.1 In a study of women
wearing a placebo patch and taking a placebo pill, 63% more women preferred the semi-weekly
placebo DOT Matrix patch over the daily placebo pill2. CombiPatch allows patients to get their
complete hormone treatment through a single patch.
In clinical studies, CombiPatch completely adhered to the skin nearly 90 percent
of the time. In fact, less than 2% of patients required reapplication or
replacement of systems due to lifting or detachment. Additionally, CombiPatch
has a low incidence of skin irritation and side effects.
CombiPatch has a 3 ½ day wear period and should not be affected by
exposure to moisture and other conditions such as showers,
exercise and swimming.
CombiPatch is small and transparent.
